BioScan • Non-invasive wellness assessment

BioScan

BioScan is a non-invasive wellness assessment that uses biofeedback through specific energy points on the body (commonly referred to as acupuncture points) to review patterns of balance and functional stress across body systems. Results are used to guide priorities and support personalized care planning.

What is BioScan?

BioScan provides a structured snapshot of functional patterns in the body at the time of your visit. It does not assess organ structure. Instead, it highlights areas that may be under greater stress or working harder to maintain balance.

  • Non-invasive and comfortable
  • Supports prioritization of focus areas
  • Can be repeated to track trends over time
How we use your results: Findings are reviewed alongside your health history and symptoms. When appropriate, additional testing may be recommended to clarify next steps.

How the BioScan works

BioScan uses a very low-level electrical current to collect biofeedback through specific energy points on the body (acupuncture points). These points are used because they have distinct electrical properties and are traditionally associated with organ systems.

As the current is applied, the system measures changes in electrical conductivity and resistance. These responses reflect how the nervous system and regulatory systems are responding and adapting at that moment.

How organs are assessed: Organ systems are evaluated indirectly through the biofeedback patterns at their associated points. This helps identify areas of relative balance or functional stress—rather than confirming a diagnosis.

What “organ strength” means in BioScan results

In a BioScan, strength refers to the functional resilience and adaptability of an organ system based on biofeedback signals. It does not measure organ size, anatomy, or the presence or absence of disease.

  • What it reflects: functional stress, adaptability, and regulation patterns
  • What it does not reflect: structural findings or a medical diagnosis

Appointment length & what to expect

Your entire BioScan appointment is approximately 1 hour. This includes the scan itself (about 30 minutes), review of findings, and discussion of next steps.

  1. Goals & context: We’ll review what you’re hoping to learn from the scan.
  2. The scan: Non-invasive testing using external contact points. No needles. Comfortable and gentle.
  3. Review: We go through key findings and outline practical next steps.

Most people do not feel the current. There is no downtime, and you may return to regular activities immediately afterward.

How BioScan helps guide treatment

In addition to identifying areas of imbalance, the BioScan system can help guide which supportive treatments may be most appropriate to help bring balance to systems that are showing signs of stress.

  • Helps prioritize areas of focus
  • Supports personalized care planning
  • Provides direction on supportive approaches to help rebalance affected points
Recommendations are always considered alongside your health history, symptoms, and clinical assessment.
