Meghan Manzo first started her journey into health care when she enrolled to become a registered nurse at McMaster. She graduated with honors receiving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then completed her critical care training and is working in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at the Hamilton General Hospital.
Her passion for alternative medicine developed after being treated for her own medical issues with the successful use of homeopathy. She decided to practice what she was preaching and enrolled in the 3 year program to become a Homeopath at the Canadian College of Homeopathy located in Toronto, ON. After completing her diploma she went on to register with the College of Homeopaths and is now a licensed Homeopathic Practitioner. She practices Classical Homeopathy, which is based on a set of principles developed by the founding father, Samuel Hahnemann.
Meghan started her practice with Reiki in 2008 being initiated to her 1st Degree. She then continued on with her practice in 2011 and received her 2nd Degree. Meghan is currently under way to receiving her Mastery. Her training is based on the principles of Usui Reiki, which originated in Japan in 1922 by the Buddhist Mikao Usui.
Her passion for both Homeopathy and Reiki is shown through her dedication and practice. Her approach to care is to encompass all aspects of one’s health, which includes the physical, emotional and mental well-being of each person on an individualized basis. Joining the inspiring team at Lococo’s is an exciting venture and she looks forward to making Homeopathy and Reiki an integral part of the practice.
